Getting Started

Baskets are filled with charcoal briquettes and placed on top of the heating element.  The start button is pressed and the heating elements activate.
The blower accelerates the charcoal to a cook ready state then shuts off  automatically after a few minutes.
Once the blower automatically shuts off you can use the specially designed tool to move the baskets into different cooking positions for different styles of cooking.
About ten minutes after you pressed the start button your ready start cooking.  In addition to charcoal other woods can be used to simulate a wood fired oven.
By placing the charcoal baskets in the four corners of the grill you can use the rotisserie to cook foods indirectly.

Cleaning up

The Diamond Charcoal Island Grill is built like a sink. The bottom slopes downward into the built-in garbage disposal unit.
After your down cooking remove the cast iron grills and fill the grill with soap and water. Wash the inside components just like you would the dishes.
Finally activate the garbage disposal unit and let the mess drain away. You can plumb your grill directly into your home plumbing or have it empty directly into a waste container. Since its just wet burned ashes its safe to dispose of anywhere.
